The Church teaches that Catholic life and teaching is formed, nourished, and deepened by Scripture and Tradition. Church’s Story 2 – Lived by the People of God (Revised Edition) introduces children to this lived tradition.

The ‘Church’s Story’ series complements the God’s Story series of books and the Come & See religious education program.

CHURCH’S STORY 2 IS FOR AGES 5-7.

This Revised Edition has changes made to the text to match with the changes to the Catholic Mass as well as improvements to the images and the overall quality of the book.

Children will learn about:

• The Church – the community of believers living and sharing Christian faith at home, in the parish community, and in the worldwide family of the Church;
• The Sacraments – how God’s love and presence are revealed and celebrated in the Church’s sacraments;
• The Christian life of love, self-giving, and service which is celebrated, experienced, reflected upon, and expressed year by year in the liturgical cycle of seasons and feasts.
