The third encyclical from Pope Benedict XVI follows through on the themes of his first two, hope and love, and applies them to the major social issues of today. Drawing on moral truth as well as on the teaching of the Gospel, Pope Benedict XVI addresses both Catholics and non-Catholics, challenging us to recognise and then confront the social evils of our day.
